Students will need a computer to participate in the course, complete practical exercises, and access online resources. This includes installing third-party software wallets.

Key Skills You'll Learn
- Cryptocurrency Basics: Establishes a foundational understanding of how virtual assets work, ensuring all participants are starting from the same baseline.
- Cryptocurrency Wallets: Learn how to create, manage, and secure virtual wallets, including how to generate wallets from existing seed phrases and the significance of derivation paths in wallet re-creation.
- Interacting with Cryptocurrency: Develop real-world skills by sending and receiving testnet versions of well-known cryptocurrencies and minting an NFT. All while providing a safe environment to practice fundamental skills.
- Risk Management and Standard Operating Procedures: Recognise the risks associated with moving virtual assets and explain when to move funds from a suspect’s wallet, chain of custody and list of approval steps, all of which can be taken into consideration for your own Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

- Duration: 12 hours total, spread across three days (four hours per day)

- Certification Exam: Included in the course duration
- Pass Rate: 75% required to earn certification
- Prerequisites: None – no prior cryptocurrency experience needed
